Information stored on your device

• Game progress, settings, collection and breeding history, a randomly generated gallery ID, your optional player name, and processed StoreKit transaction identifiers are stored locally in a versioned save file.
• Aqua Breed does not require manual account registration or a password. Version 1.1 uses anonymous online sign-in for the leaderboard features described below. Deleting the app and its data removes the local game profile unless Apple restores app data through an iOS service you have enabled; it does not by itself delete information already sent to the online leaderboard service.
• Local notifications may be used for care or breeding reminders only after you grant notification permission.

Online weekly minigame leaderboards (version 1.1)

Version 1.1 adds global weekly minigame leaderboards using Unity Gaming Services Authentication and Unity Leaderboards. Anonymous sign-in creates a persistent player ID without requiring you to choose a login or password. Anonymous sign-in does not mean that leaderboard activity has no identifier: submissions can be associated with that stable player ID.

Your player ID, optional player-chosen display name, and submitted minigame scores are sent to Unity to identify your leaderboard profile, record scores, and calculate weekly rankings. Display names and scores in the top 20 of the weekly global leaderboards are visible to other players. Choose a display name you are comfortable sharing publicly and avoid including private information in it.

Core aquarium progress remains stored locally. The online leaderboard service does not mean that your aquarium save is backed up online. Earlier app versions may not include these leaderboard features. Unity processes service data under its game player and app user privacy policy.

Optional rewarded advertising

Aqua Breed offers optional rewarded videos through Unity LevelPlay. When an ad is requested or shown, Unity and participating advertising partners may process a device identifier, advertising data, product interaction, performance data, and diagnostic data for ad delivery, fraud prevention, app functionality, and analytics. A device identifier may be used for tracking across apps or services by an advertising provider. Aqua Breed configures its rewarded-ad service for non-personalized ads and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission in the current release.

Watching a rewarded video is optional. In-game value is granted only after the advertising service reports that the required viewing was completed. Learn more in the Unity game player and app user privacy policy.

In-app purchases

Optional consumable gem packs are sold through Apple StoreKit. Apple processes payment and financial information under Apple's own terms. Aqua Breed receives product, purchase-status, and transaction information needed to deliver the virtual items and prevent duplicate fulfillment; the app does not receive your full payment-card details.

Surveys

Survey offers are not enabled in the current release. If surveys are enabled in a future version, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that feature is made available.

Your choices

You can avoid rewarded advertising by not starting a video, manage notifications in iOS Settings, and reset or delete local game data. Black Thorn Labs LLC does not sell personal information. Advertising partners process data under their own policies and the choices available through iOS and their services.

For questions about your online leaderboard information or to request deletion of that information, contact durian@blackthornlabsgames.com. Resetting local game data is separate from requesting deletion of server-held leaderboard information. A weekly ranking period is not a promise that all service records are deleted each week.

Children

Aqua Breed is not directed to children under 13.
